The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shared footage of their use of Phoenix Ghost drones in their ongoing war with Russia.

A user shared the video footage of Ukraine using the Phoenix Ghost drones against Russian troops saying:

“Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using secret Phoenix Ghost kamikaze drones during the war. As a result of the hit, the Ukrainian army managed to eliminate two servicemen of the Russian army and wound three others.

“After the operation of the kamikaze drone, the positions of the Russians of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were attacked with an 82 mm machine gun.”

Designed by the American company Aevex Aerospace, the Phoenix Ghost is a small type of explosive drone, whose main purpose is to deliver an explosive ordnance to a human target.

The drone can fly over an area for up to six hours and can also be used for surveillance.

The news follows reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on the Antonovsky Bridge in Kherson on the evening of July 26.

Natalia Humenyuk, spokeswoman for the Ukrainian AFU South command, confirmed the shelling by the Ukrainian HIMARS.

“The work of our artillery is so delicate and so precious that it is more aimed at demoralizing the enemy troops. That’s why there were strikes on the Antonovsky Bridge,” she said.
