The Russian army shells the Dnipropetrovsk region using Grads, Hurricanes and heavy artillery


Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region came under enemy fire last night.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said so in a Telegram article, reports Ukrinform.

“The Russian occupation forces fired Grads, Uragans and heavy artillery. […] They hit four communities in two districts,” the message read.

Nikopol District fell under Grad MLRS and heavy artillery fire. There were no casualties. Russian forces shelled the town of Nikopol three times. Several residential buildings and cars were damaged. More than 1,500 homes were left without electricity. Electricians are already working to restore power.

In the Marhanets community, one house was destroyed and up to ten others were damaged. In Marhanets, the warehouse and workshops of a local factory were damaged. A power line was cut in the city.

Residential buildings were also damaged in the community of Chervonohryhorivka.

Kryvyi Rih district came under fire from Uragan’s MLRS. The enemy also hit the community of Zelenodolsk.
