MOSCOW, November 26. / TASS /. Russian armed forces have helped more than 15 states fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Friday.

“An architecture of peaceful living is being built through joint efforts in the Karabakh conflict region and in Syria. Effective humanitarian assistance was provided to Armenia, Afghanistan, Syria and Cuba. More than 15 countries have received assistance from both Russia and the Armed Forces in combating the pandemic. They are both non-CIS and CIS states. We are continuing this work, “Shoigu said at the 7th Interagency Scientific and Practical Conference,” The Interagency Information Interaction System in the Performance of Russian Defense Tasks. ‘

At this stage, it is important to generalize and analyze the results of the work, to specify the axes of further development and to take into account “the most advanced approaches and new technologies”, declared the Minister of Defense.

No task of importance to the state, whether it is the defense of the country or the fight against the novel coronavirus, can be solved without consolidated efforts, the reliable and continuous functioning of the system of interagency interaction, said Shoigu.
