Russian invaders shelled civilian infrastructure in 20 settlements in the Zaporizhia region on Thursday.
This is according to the regional army Administrationreports Ukrinform.
“During the past day, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the regions of Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Novopavlivka, Novodanilivka, Olhivske, Stepnohirsk, Mala Tokmachka, Hulyaipole, Novodarivka, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Bilohirya, Shcherbaky , Novopokrovka, Malynyvka, Poltavka, Dorozhnianka and Kamianske,” the statement read.
Fourteen reports were received confirming the destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of Russian bombing.
Throughout the past day, the civilian population continued to evacuate the temporarily occupied territory. A total of 1,027 people were evacuated, including 271 children.
As reported, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk recommends Ukrainians fleeing the most dangerous territories not to plan to return home until spring.
