A total of 358 children have been killed and more than 686 injured in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegramreports a correspondent of Ukrinform.
“As of July 25, 2022, the number of people killed remained unchanged (358 children). The number of injured exceeded 686 children,” the report said.
These data are not definitive, because they are studied in the zones of hostilities, the temporarily occupied and liberated zones.
Currently, most of the victims were registered in Donetsk region (362), Kharkiv region (194), Kyiv region (116), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (61), Mykolaiv region (55), Kherson region (54) and Zaporizhzhia region (40).
On July 25, 2022, an 8-year-old girl was injured during the Russian shelling of Mykolaiv district, Mykolaiv region.
The Ukrainian side also received information about a 17-year-old boy injured in the Russian shelling of Hirnyk, Donetsk region, on July 18, 2022.
A total of 2,188 educational institutions were damaged across Ukraine as a result of daily Russian air and artillery strikes, and 221 of them were completely destroyed.
