News LIVE: Russian forces now focus on liberating Donbass

Live updates: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky again called on Russia to negotiate an end to the war, but said Ukraine would not agree to cede part of its territory in the name of peace. In his nightly video address to the nation on Friday, Zelenskyy appeared to be responding to Colonel General Sergei Rudskoi, Russia’s deputy chief of staff, who said Russian forces would now focus on the main objective, the liberation of Donbass.

Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manish Sisodia will present the annual budget for the financial year 2022-23 to the Delhi Assembly on Saturday. Following the annual budget, the Minister will present the grant applications for the 2022-23 fiscal year and the supplementary grant applications for the 2012-22 fiscal year.

The main tasks of the first stage of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine have been completed overall, the Russian military said. “The combat potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been significantly reduced,” Sergei Rudskoy, first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said on Friday. “Our forces and our means will concentrate on the essential, the complete liberation of Donbass,” he added.
