Yahaya said this on Thursday when Alexey Shebarshin, Russian Ambassador to Nigeria, visited him at the army headquarters.
Army spokesman Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement said the army chief also spoke of the need to support collaboration between the two countries.

“The Russian Ambassador to Nigeria praised the contributions of the NA to the stability of the continent and called Nigeria critical of the African continent in terms of military capabilities, trade and investment.
